Our Associate teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). This is a full-time position which works alongside trained Montessori Teachers (as part of a teaching team) to deliver on our mission to develop a lifelong love of learning in our students.

Associate Responsibilities

Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;

Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;

Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;

Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;

Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.

Associate Requirements

Minimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework;ย 

At least 18 years of age

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).
