This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while utilizing telehealth tools to connect with clients. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, enabling seamless communication, session booking, and documentation, ensuring that you can focus on what matters most—your clients' mental health. You will collaborate virtually with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
• Monitor and document client progress through regular follow-up sessions, providing feedback to clients and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, care team members, family, and other support individuals regarding client care and progress.
• Schedule and coordinate home visits for clients requiring in-person assessments as part of their therapeutic process.
• Ensure program plans are implemented effectively and align with compliance and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous education and training sessions to certify staff in relevant therapeutic practices and documentation procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, share expertise, and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Provide backup and follow-up services through additional interviews or home visits as necessary to ensure ongoing support for clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a varied clientele, including adults and youth facing diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your approach will involve not just individual therapy but also family dynamics, as you may engage in therapy sessions aimed at improving familial relationships and communication. You will be skilled in navigating complex cases and equipped to provide culturally competent care tailored to the needs of a diverse population.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, particularly within a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering mental health services.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards within mental health care, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team, displaying a commitment to shared goals and client outcomes.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred, adding value to the services provided.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering mental health services is advantageous as it aligns with our remote service model.
