Position Title: Research Associate

Position posting date: 08/20/26

Position start date: ASAP or until filled 

Salary/Range: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

Status: Casual/Intermittent (approximately 19 hours/wk.), not benefits eligible 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, variable hours between 8:00am to 4:30pm

Service/Division: Research - Psychiatry

Job Code: AB 1409

Salary: $20.00- $21.00 per hour


Summary:

Research Associate activities include participant recruitment and screening, referral for brain imaging, and brain image collection and analysis. Administrative work will also be part of the position.


Duties and responsibilities:

Recruits research participants through established methods.

Assists in screening participant for brain imaging and referral to UCSD for brain imaging.

Assists in brain imaging procedure and data analysis.

Works with typical computer programs, such as Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field from an accredited college or university AND at least 6 months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Â
