Naval Programs Action Officer
The Opportunity:
As an Action Officer in Naval Programs, you know the complexities of supporting U.S Navy projects from concept to completion. Many U.S Navy programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced Action Officer who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and executing policies, programs, and initiatives within an organization, driven by stakeholder needs and program requirements. You'll support and manage projects to ensure completion on time and within budget, including developing plans, implementing strategies, and leading team efforts. You will act as a liaison to bridge between functional teams, civilian and military leadership, and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration. You will conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to support decision-making and operational improvements. You'll facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings as needed to support organizational goals.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a company grade military officer, serving as an action officer, for senior military leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or policy implementation with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a company grade or higher military officer, serving as a department head, for senior military leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or policy implementation cross-functional teams
  • Experience in U.S. Navy platforms and systems
  • Possession of strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • PMP Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
