As the Manager, Planning and Operations - Higher Education, you will support the development and execution of Vector's growth strategy within the post-secondary market. This role bridges strategic insights and execution, helping translate market trends into actionable plans. You will partner cross-functionally to drive planning processes, support strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment against key business priorities.
What You'll Do:
1. Strategy Support & Market Insights
  • Support the development of the Higher Education growth strategy, including market analysis, competitive insights, and opportunity identification
  • Conduct research on the EdTech landscape, including competitors, regulatory changes, and emerging trends
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations and contribute to business cases for new initiatives

2. Planning & Execution
  • Support the integrated business planning process, including tracking KPIs, OKRs, and key strategic initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines
  • Help drive execution of strategic projects from planning through implementation
  • Build clear and concise materials for leadership updates and internal presentations

3. Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives
  • Support identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships
  • Assist in research and preparation for potential partnership or M&A opportunities
  • Contribute to diligence materials and coordination efforts as needed

4. Content & Market Alignment
  • Define and maintain a data-driven content roadmap, prioritizing course development based on market demand, regulatory requirements, and customer needs
  • Translate market insights into clear course requirements and prioritization frameworks for product and content teams
  • Ensure content investments are aligned to revenue growth, customer retention, and competitive differentiation

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or business operations (EdTech or Higher Education preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to strategic planning processes and execution of cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with experience building presentations for leadership audiences
  • Experience supporting partnerships or corporate development efforts is a plus
