POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Logistics Analyst is a developing leadership role responsible for overseeing complex customer accounts, guiding junior analysts, and serving as the first level of escalation for operational and customer issues. While this role has no direct reports, it carries significant influence over team workflows, account coverage, and process improvement initiatives. The Senior Logistics Analyst is a subject matter expert in EDRAY's tools, reporting, and best practices and plays a key role in ensuring alignment across customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as a senior operational lead across multiple customer accounts, overseeing workload distribution and ensuring full account coverage
  • Delegate and coordinate work across junior analysts (Levels 1–3) to balance capacity and minimize redundancy
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational, customer, and workflow issues
  • Maintain a deep understanding of EDRAY's best practices and roadmap, ensuring customer alignment and escalating misalignment when necessary
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for new platform tools, reporting, and process rollouts; ensure knowledge transfer to the analyst team
  • Maintain visibility into all technology tickets (Admin, Development, Reporting, Integrations) for assigned accounts and escalate priorities to the Regional Manager
  • Partner with the Regional Manager to identify and support development opportunities for junior analysts
  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive clarity, alignment, and execution


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Proven experience managing complex logistics or supply-chain operations across multiple accounts
  • Strong understanding of intermodal logistics, drayage operations, and port-centric supply chains
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities in fast-paced environments

  • Prior experience serving as an escalation point or informal team lead
  • Experience supporting or implementing new tools, reporting, or operational processes
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technology, reporting, and integrations teams
