The Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) leads with a student-centered vision, innovating in the classroom and building safe and supportive community schools. We collaborate and partner with local, county, and state agencies to address challenges students face.
We are looking for individuals who can enact our vision: equipping the most vulnerable students and those who serve them with the tools to thrive. Job Summary
This is a limited term position. There are no benefits assigned to this position.
Requirements / Qualifications
Comments and Other Information
This position will primarily be working hours during our evening/night operations, which may vary between shifts starting at 11 AM and ending at 8 PM, with no shift lasting longer than 7.5 hours per day. Flexibility is required as shifts may occasionally be adjusted to include daytime hours for special events, deep cleaning periods, or department needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of custodian or equivalent experience preferred. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling (up to 50 pounds).
Equivalency: Any combination of education, training, and job-related experience equivalent to the above qualifications.
SCREENINGS WILL BE HELD WEEKLY EVERY WEDNESDAY
