Description and Requirements
General Description: Responsible for the implementation and management of regional marketing initiatives. Includes ownership of event calendar, prospecting strategies/campaigns, and digital marketing/marketing automation. Improve quality and quantity of new business appointments, pipeline, growth, and retention. Work in partnership with the Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty Sales Leaders.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the regional events calendar leveraging Marketo. Includes round table discussions, lunch & learns, association/membership activities and social events hosted by sales team.
  • Provide analytics integrating both Marketo and Dynamics data to regional and local leadership.
  • Create and analyze reports and analytics for various events and prospecting activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and track procedures for marketing investments. Includes events, sponsorships, charitable contributions, and memberships. Maintain metrics to track ROI.
  • Support "warming activities" for sales consultants to drive new business. Schedule and implement seminars, webinars, and virtual meetings.
  • Work with regional marketing and communications leadership to implement sales and marketing processes.
  • Oversee tactical sales enablement and marketing projects and tools. Includes communications, presentations, sponsorships, advertising, and branding.
  • Assist sales consultants with social media outreach and regional social media strategies.
  • Work with marketing team to gain higher visibility and quality market positioning. Support new business, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Manage creative ways to drive webinar and event attendance with effective follow-up.
  • Train regional Sales and Marketing Specialists (SMS). Provide backup for SMS in the regions as needed.
  • Lead SMS peers in productive communication sessions with leadership and sales associates. Focus on pertinent changes and issues.
  • Drive utilization and update prospecting and relationship building opportunities in sales automation system.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing support at executive level.
  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in marketing or communications preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing automation platforms. Includes Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with salesforce management/CRM systems. Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Strong Social Media skills, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, regionally and nationally.
  • Experience developing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Experience training others preferred.
  • Detail oriented with editorial skill.
  • Working knowledge of WebEx and Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-motivated. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high-pressure, team environment.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
