Job Description
Depending on the position, interns take part in various aspects of the editorial process, sales, or social media related to book releases.
  • Editorial Director: Oversees the Cornerstone Press editorial process, schedule, and staff for
  • Managing Editor: Assists in managing the Cornerstone Press editorial process, schedule, and staff
  • Media Director: Oversees Cornerstone Press social media platforms
  • Media Manager: Assists in overseeing the Cornerstone Press social media platforms.
  • Sales Director: Oversees Cornerstone Press sales events and on-campus sales, schedule, and staffing.
  • Sales Manager: Assists in managing Cornerstone Press sales events and on-campus sales, schedule, and staffing.

Qualifications
Interns should have experience in the area they are interested in whether that includes customer service experience (sales), manuscript editing experience (editing), event management experience (sales), social media experience (media), or experience working with Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Canva (production).
  • Editorial Director: Experience editing manuscripts, experience with Cornerstone Press and previous supervisory experience.
  • Managing Editor: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills and experience in editing.
  • Media Director/Manager: Experience working with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Sales Director/Manager: Experience working in customer service and/or event planning.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal intern would also be familiar with Cornerstone Press.
