Job description

Salary: 19.00

Tormach, a manufacturer of capable, affordable, and easy-to-use CNC machines and
automation tools, is seeking a Video Production Intern for the Marketing Department for the
Fall 2026 semester. Come join our fun, passionate and dedicated Marketing Team, where
you will get tons of Marketing Experience in several areas! Applicants must be local to the
Madison area with availability for up to 20 hours per week.


Assist in the editing of videos for social media posting on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn
and YouTube
Assist in editing technical videos to final cut or to prepare for collaboration
Basic editing skills: including logging footage, aligning audio to video, integrating
music with ducking and background noise control, creating basic titles, appropriate
transition creation, and file organization
Editing skills: color balance and correction to match footage from several cameras,
motion effects editing, EQ adjustments to balance music under dialog, layered edit
techniques, masking, tracking footage and cutting to the music beats
The ability to adjust the settings on a DSLR camera on the fly and to focus footage
Learn the basics of lighting, use of stands and camera tripods
Will need to edit YouTube thumbnails with Photoshop
Basic AI picture and video creation through prompting
Proficiency needed in the following programs: Adobe Premiere, Photoshop,
Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams
Experience posting videos, and vertical videos, to social media: Facebook, TikTok,
YouTube, Instagram, etc.
