Job description

Summary:   The Document Review Coordinator will work directly with customers purchasing new homes as an intermediary between borrowers, the sales team, and underwriting department to ensure a positive home buying experience
Responsibilities
  • Regularly communicate with homebuyers
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal staff throughout the entire loan process
  • Manage loan files, obtain/document customer information, and process mortgages in a timely fashion
  • Set up loan files, order all exhibits (i.e., VOE's, VOD's credit report, etc.), and follow up on submitted/pending loans.
  • Coordinate closing paperwork, ensure detailed completion of loan files prior to passing to the closing department

Requirements:  
  • 2+ years of experience processing loans
  • Working knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures, preferred
  • Excellent customer service, and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
