Corporate Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Litigation Associate Attorney to join the Litigation Practice Group of a prestigious international law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. This is an exceptional opportunity for a litigation associate interested in sophisticated corporate governance, fiduciary duty, shareholder, and complex commercial disputes before the Delaware Court of Chancery and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

The ideal candidate will have 1โ€“3 years of corporate litigation experience, outstanding legal writing and analytical skills, and a strong academic background. Candidates with immediately transferable Delaware litigation experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in complex corporate and commercial litigation matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery and other state and federal courts.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis in support of litigation strategy and case development.

  • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.

  • Assist with all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, trials, and appeals.

  • Participate in court appearances, client meetings, strategy sessions, and settlement negotiations.

  • Analyze complex legal and factual issues to develop practical and effective litigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

QualificationsRequired
