Customer Service EDI Invoice Specialist - Sorrento Valley, CA
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service EDI Invoice Specialist to join our clients team in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. This role is responsible for managing electronic invoicing processes, supporting customers with EDI-related inquiries, and ensuring accurate data exchange between internal systems and customer platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage customer invoices through EDI platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely transmission
  • Monitor EDI transactions and troubleshoot errors related to invoice submissions, acknowledgements, and data discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as accounting, logistics, and customer service to resolve invoice issues
  • Use Excel to analyze invoicing data, reconcile discrepancies, and track invoice status
  • Communicate with customers regarding invoice questions, EDI setup, and payment-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of EDI processes, transactions, and issue resolutions
  • Assist with onboarding new trading partners and testing EDI integrations
  • Support reporting and provide insights on invoicing trends and operational improvements
Position Details:

  • Contract to hire role
  • Compensation: $23.00 -$28.00 per hour DOE
  • Located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego
  • Full-time, Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
