Job Summary:
PSI (Proteam Solutions) is seeking a skilled Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst to spearhead the development and integration of EDI systems onto a unified platform. This role involves analyzing requirements, creating mapping documents, testing systems, and establishing robust communication with trading partners.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement comprehensive solutions to maintain and expand customer EDI requirements.
• Address and troubleshoot issues related to plant EDI such as transaction rejections and missing data.
• Generate and refine EDI mapping documents.
• Develop and uphold communication protocols with trading partners to ensure seamless information integration.
• Work collaboratively with programmers and internal teams to design, test, and deploy new or enhanced systems.
• Document all EDI processes thoroughly.
• Resolve technical problems by conducting in-depth research and complex troubleshooting, including consulting with other technical staff as needed.
• Participate actively in IT project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines while managing network users and maintaining secure environments.
• Engage in daily operations and routine meetings to discuss IT developments, updates, and other pertinent issues.
• Contribute to team efforts by supporting continuous improvement initiatives and upholding high standards of performance and service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Involve in special task forces and fulfill additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of three years of experience in EDI support, with a preference for candidates with experience in a manufacturing context.
• At least three years of involvement with an ERP system, with a strong preference for those knowledgeable in Microsoft AX or D365.
• Profound understanding of X12 and Edifact standards.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional EDI solutions and to optimize business processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for effective interaction across various levels of the organization.
• Team-oriented, with the capability to follow directions in a group environment or work independently in dynamic settings.
• Knowledgeable about SOX compliance requirements.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in managing tasks.
