Overview
Technically coordinates and supports the administration of electronic data transfer processes which connects the client's private information to their various trading partners via Paychex EDI tools.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates knowledge in using EDI tools and methods to handle private and confidential data with absolute security.
  • Communicates with trading partners and clients to perform requirements gathering, setup data communication, and integration testing for new connections, enabling accurate and timely flow of information using secure transfer protocols and internal tools.
  • Through phone contact, cultivates relationships with trading partner contacts to facilitate job completion related to EDI.
  • Acts as primary contact for EDI testing process to resolve questions, and ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Keeps accurate notes detailing progress on each assigned stage to provide open communication to all parties and update any existing routing process steps for future use.
  • Answers routine client, trading partner and internal support staff questions related to data transfer feeds from both internal and external customers by referencing existing policies and procedures.
  • Manages feed cancellations for terminated clients and ensure proper communication with carriers.
  • Reviews and resolves discrepancies, errors and transmission issues during testing and production. Spearheading effort in coordination with internal teams to resolve issues to ensure accuracy and data integrity of client information.
  • Coordinates updates to EDI feeds due to plan design, structure or renewal changes.
  • Performs low-complexity site updates.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements to optimize EDI workflows.

    • 2 years of experience in EDI analysis and/or benefits administration.
    • 1 year of experience in Project Management experience.

    Compensation
    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $16.70 - $26.24 per hour. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
