The ABAP Senior Developer/Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and support of SAP ABAP applications. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of the SAP ABAP language, as well as a solid understanding of SAP database structures and functional modules including Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), and Financial Accounting (FI).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, code, test, document, and implement SAP ABAP changes.
  • Support and troubleshoot SAP development and interface-related issues.
  • Develop new custom ABAP reports and maintain/enhance existing programs.
  • Work on various SAP development components, including:
    • Interface programs (IDOCs, BAPIs, APIs etc.)
    • Custom ABAP reports/Module Pool
    • User exits/enhancements/ Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)
    • LSMW/BDC
    • SAP scripts/ Smart Forms and Adobe Interactive Forms
    • SAP Objects
    • Workflows
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including development standards, program specifications, and test plans.
  • Provide accurate development estimates for project and support activities.
  • Lead or contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of SAP enhancements and customizations.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP modules: Sales Distribution (SD) Quote to Cash process including scheduling agreements and releases, Material Management (Procure to Pay including MRP), Warehouse Management (WM) Receive to Ship, and Finance (FI) Record to Report, COPA including KE30.
  • Experience with SAP Forms (Smart Forms, SAP scripts and Adobe Forms), User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and Workflows
  • High Proficiency with interface technologies such as IDOCs, Rest/SOAP APIs, EDIs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
  • Architectural understanding of SAP to Non-SAP system integrations, especially SAP ERP to CRM dynamics, SAP to Print label solutions (Bartender). SAP to EDI solutions (Bizmanager)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
