Our client, a leader in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Custom Software Engineer to join their team. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be part of the IT support team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing critical integration systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to support and development tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Custom Software Engineer
Location: Harrison, Arkansas
Pay Range: $45-50/hr on w2
What's the Job?

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for CLEO-based EDI and MFT integrations, including proactive monitoring and incident triage.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions, file transfers, mappings, and partner connectivity issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform log analysis, reprocessing, restart jobs, and data validation to ensure successful and timely file exchanges.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal development teams, and external partners to drive issue resolution and provide clear status updates.
  • Support defect fixes, configuration changes, and deployment of enhancements in collaboration with other teams and release managers.
What's Needed?
  • 2 to 3 years of experience working with EDI and MFT platforms, particularly Cleo or similar tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to EDI transactions, file transfers, and partner connectivity.
  • Experience with log analysis, job reprocessing, and data validation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and provide status updates.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
