Pay Rate: $32.00–$34.00/hr (W-2)
 
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to machine, repair, and maintain molds, dies, and fixtures used in rubber manufacturing. This role requires strong CNC programming skills, especially using Edgecam or similar CAD/CAM software.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Machine and rework molds, dies, fixtures, and tooling components
  • Program CNC mills and lathes from scratch (Edgecam or similar)
  • Operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Set machining parameters (speed, feed, depth, etc.)
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
  • Perform basic welding/torch work as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with production/design teams to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of machining experience (tooling, molds, dies, fixtures)
  • Strong CNC programming experience (Edgecam preferred)
  • Experience with CNC mills & lathes + manual machining
  • Proficient with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
  • Experience in rubber or elastomer manufacturing
  • CNC or machine-specific certifications
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Comfortable working with machinery, tools, and shop equipment
  • Steel-toe shoes required (coveralls provided)
Shift & Interview
  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri, overtime as needed)
