The Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos currently hasopenings for Network Engineersto workin ourOrlando, FLoffice.This is an exciting opportunity toget your career started by supportingthecriticalUnited States Air Force (USAF)Network Program.

The ideal candidate willbe responsible formanaging andmaintainingaJuniperSSR SD-WAN implementation, work with stakeholders to bring new capabilities onto thenetwork, andcreate service-based routing to allow for network optimization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture.

  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software.Develop and manage policies and profiles tooptimizeapplication delivery and security.W

  • Work with Tier 2 Managers toestablishregular monitoring of network devices to ensureoptimalperformance.

  • Under the guidance of Cyber Team members,conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches.

  • Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.

  • Support Classified IT infrastructure.

  • Provide technicalexpertiseto resolve networking events, as well as update and configure equipment whilemaintaininga configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle.

Basic Qualifications

  • BSin a relevant technical disciplinewith 2-8 yearsof overall relatedexperience,or MSin a relevant technical discipline.Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Current and Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Strong desirefor continual learning and skills development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juniper Certified orCisco Certified.

  • RedHatsupport experience.

  • SD-WAN experience.

  • Experience with, or knowledge ofSAFeAgile implementation.

  • Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio.

  • Experience with, or knowledge ofCloud and Edge Computing and Networks
