Job description

ABOUT HUT 8

Imagine the ultimate destination for those who want to work at the cutting edge of technology, energy, and infrastructure. Hut 8 is on a mission to build and operate some of the world's largest data centers for next-generation computing workloads, including AI, Colocation, Cloud, and Bitcoin Mining. We are proud to offer interesting and challenging opportunities for individuals who want to build teams, solve problems, and make an impact from day one. If you're an ambitious individual looking for a career that is as rewarding as it is challenging, you've come to the right place.

About the role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full recruiting lifecycle — from keeping our systems organized and our employer brand sharp, to crafting candidate and hiring manager communications and building out talent pipelines. This is a great opportunity for someone curious about talent acquisition, people operations, HR tech, and the craft of hiring.

What you'll do

ATS Governance (Greenhouse)

• Audit and clean up job requisitions, candidate stages, and pipeline data in Greenhouse

• Ensure candidate records are accurate, consistently tagged, and up to date

• Build and maintain scorecards, job templates, and offer letter templates

• Generate reports and pull recruiting metrics to support weekly team updates

Talent Branding

• Update and maintain our careers landing pages and job descriptions for accuracy and brand consistency

• Collaborate with the team to refresh content on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other employer brand platforms

• Help draft social content spotlighting culture, team stories, and open roles

Candidate & Hiring Manager Communications

• Partner with the marketing team to develop and refine candidate-facing communications, including outreach templates, interview prep materials, and status update emails

• Collaborate with marketing to create and update hiring manager resources such as interview guides, role kick-off templates, and process FAQs

• Ensure all communications reflect our employer brand voice and provide a consistent, positive experience throughout the hiring process

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field

• Strong attention to detail: you notice when something is off and you fix it

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable learning new tools quickly

• Prior experience with an ATS (especially Greenhouse) is a plus, but not required

• Genuine curiosity about talent acquisition, people operations, and how great teams are built

What you'll gain

• Real-world experience with industry-standard recruiting tools including Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter

• Exposure to full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions and levels

• Mentorship from experienced Talent Acquisition professionals

• A strong foundation for a career in Talent Acquisition and People Operations

Additional Details

• Duration: 10–12 weeks (summer or semester-based, flexible)

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Must be based in Miami, onsite five days a week

We're committed to building a team that reflects the world we serve. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
