Level II Eddy Current NDT Technician - Lima, OH
Full-Time & Temporary Opportunities
We are currently seeking experienced Level II Eddy Current (ET) NDT Technicians for full-time and temporary/project-based opportunities in Lima, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have prior eddy current inspection experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical accuracy.
Position Summary
The Level II Eddy Current Technician will perform eddy current inspections on various components and equipment in accordance with applicable procedures, industry standards, and customer specifications. Candidates must be capable of interpreting inspection data, preparing documentation, and working independently in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform Level II Eddy Current (ET) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate eddy current testing equipment
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results accurately
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and safety requirements
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper functionality
  • Support outage, maintenance, manufacturing, or production inspection activities
  • Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams
  • Support additional NDT methods as needed
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on project requirements

Qualifications
  • Current Level II Eddy Current (ET) certification required
  • Previous eddy current inspection experience required
  • Strong understanding of NDT inspection techniques and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, codes, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT) are a plus
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, refinery, power generation, or industrial environments preferred
  • Experience with tubing inspections, surface inspections, or automated systems preferred
