Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring an active CO or Compact RN license and multiple emergency-specific certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Details
  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
  • 12-hour day shifts, 0700-1930, three days per week, 36 hours per week
  • Epic EMR used for charting
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
  • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
  • Active CO Single State or Compact RN license required — no pending license accepted
  • Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to contract start
  • Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
  • ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, health teaching, delegating and supervising care, patient referrals, and treatment plan review
  • Documents nursing care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
