Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily non-clinical operations of our cardiology practice. This role is responsible for managing a team of 25 staff members and ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality patient experience. Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is essential.


Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Management:

 

  • Supervise administrative and front office staff.
  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
Operations Oversight:

 

  • Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and front desk operations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and records management using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Billing & Financial Coordination:

 

  • Collaborate with billing team to monitor claims, collections, and reimbursements.
  • Assist with financial reporting and budget tracking.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:

 

  • Ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Implement and monitor office policies and procedures.
  • Prepare for audits and inspections.
Patient Experience:

 

  • Resolve patient concerns and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement feedback-driven improvements.
