Job description
Transform lives by providing operational and administrative support for open enrollment continuing education courses and events, contract training courses, and conferences, ensuring efficient execution of scheduling, registration, logistics, and customer service.
Part-time position working 20 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build and maintain courses in registration systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Lumens, Ellucian).
Serve as primary contact for registration support with online and over the phone registrations.
Maintain accurate course and student records.
Coordinate classroom setup, materials, and technology needs.
Provide administrative support for facility rental contracts including customer support and billing.
Prepare instructor materials, purchase course materials, and provide course rosters.
Support in-person courses, conferences, seminars, and events (including occasional evenings).
Communicate with instructors regarding course logistics.
Enter pay and mileage for instructors, as well as assist with reimbursements for class materials.
Provide high-quality customer service to students and internal stakeholders.
Distribute and collect course evaluations.
Prepare and invoice companies for contracted services.
Work with confidential employer and student information.
Provide exceptional customer service for Workforce & Economic Development division and college, in general.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate degree in business, marketing, event planning, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with registration systems and Microsoft Office applications required.
Prior experience in supporting class or program development preferred.
Experience in PeopleSoft or similar Enterprise System preferred.
Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
Must possess ability to:
- Place a high priority on the (internal or external) customer's perspective when making decisions and taking action; implement service practices that meet the customers' and own organization's needs.
- Accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how detailed; show concern for all aspects of the job; accurately check processes and tasks; be watchful over a period of time.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
A pro-rated amount of paid time off will be associated with this part-time position.
