Job description

Company Description: Wise F&I delivers industry-leading administration services for automotive F&I-related, voluntary protection products such as VSC, Appearance, Tire & Wheel, Key Replacement, GAP and Theft-deterrent protection. We process and adjust claims for these contracts within programs that are underwritten by only Excellent (A- or better) rated Insurance Carriers. As a rapidly growing automotive F&I product provider with over 30 years of continuous operation in the Automotive F&I space, our operating partners include seasoned Insurance Agents, national Lenders and their client Automotive Dealers.

Primary Job Function: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Product Development projects to support the development of the company's product suite from intake through internal training, launch, and post-implementation maintenance. The Project Manager works within the Product Development team, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in other company departments including, but not limited to Risk Management, Sales, Marketing, Compliance/Legal, and Client Services. This role also partners closely with the Program Manager to ensure projects adhere to company policies and standards, platform governance, dashboard and reporting expectations, workflow design, and documentation practices.

Job Responsibilities / Tasks include:

  • Determine and define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in partnership with the VP, Product Development and Product Managers.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, workflows, timelines, and task assignments.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to support scope, timeline, resource, and business needs.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic and business requirements
  • Keep project work organized and moving forward by ensuring teams have the information, documentation, resources, and clarity needed to complete their work, while escalating risks, resource constraints, decision points, and unresolved blockers to the appropriate leaders.
  • Support the coordination of internal training and product launch activities across applicable departments or teams.
  • Maintain training and launch readiness checklists and ensure required launch components are tracked to completion.
  • Coordinate required deliverables such as contract forms, supporting materials, product collateral, system setup, training materials, internal communications, approvals, and operational readiness items.
  • Support post-launch follow-up, including issue tracking, documentation updates, lessons learned, and process improvements.
  • Build, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, workflows, dashboards, and task assignments in monday.com.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of project documentation, decisions, requirements, timelines, meeting notes, and launch materials.
  • Support the creation and improvement of repeatable Product Development project workflows.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Product Management, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3+ years of project management or related experience required; experience in product development, automotive F&I, insurance, financial services, operations, or technology preferred.
  • Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from scope definition through implementation and post-launch follow-up.
  • Strong ability to create and manage project plans, schedules, workflows, task assignments, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear updates for business stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with executives, managers, technical teams, product teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to deadlines, project details, dependencies, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and resourcefully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
