Assistant Stylist - Variable Hour
Part-Time / As-Needed | On-site

Straub Collaborative is a creative production studio specializing in e-commerce photography and visual content. We value collaboration, reliability, and attention to detail, and we're committed to building an environment where teams can do strong, consistent work.
About the Role
The Assistant Stylist supports photo production by preparing merchandise and assisting with on-set styling across e-commerce and creative shoots.
This is a variable hour, as-needed role supporting fluctuating production schedules. You'll work closely with Stylists, Photographers, and Production teams to ensure product is styled accurately, efficiently, and in line with brand standards.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare garments and accessories for shoots (steaming, organizing, pre-styling)
  • Support on-set styling, including dressing models and adjusting looks
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all styled outputs
  • Support product flow from prep through set and back to storage
  • Track product status and ensure items are ready when needed
  • Maintain organized styling areas and racks
  • Assist with basic garment pairing and look preparation
  • Partner with Sample/Production teams to track merchandise and returns
  • Maintain simple workflow tracking and communicate issues as they arise
What You Bring
  • 2-3 years of styling experience in photo production (on-model, mannequin, or laydown)
  • Ability to execute styling direction consistently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with repetitive tasks
  • Working knowledge of garment prep, fit, and presentation standards
  • Ability to stay organized, follow process, and adapt to shifting priorities
Nice to Have
  • E-commerce or studio production experience
  • Basic sewing skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and moving throughout the studio for extended periods
  • Repetitive use of hands (steaming, tagging, styling)
  • Lifting, pushing, or carrying up to 50 lbs
Schedule & Availability
  • Part-time, as-needed / variable hour
  • Hours vary based on production needs
  • No guaranteed weekly hours
  • Must be available to work on-site when scheduled
