About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an on call Stylist Assistant to join our Advertising Production team. The Assistant Stylist is responsible for supporting the Lead Stylists and works closely with all members of the photo studio. They are responsible for all operational tasks and sample organization. The Assistant Stylist collaborates with the styling team and studio staff to maintain the quality creation of still and fashion imagery and guidelines across brands. This role's primary focus is to prepare for e-commerce photography while taking on editorial projects as they become available.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
• Support lead stills and fashion stylists with e-commerce and/or editorial projects
• Utilize proper prepping techniques including but not limited to: Steaming, pinning, stuffing, and ironing to ensure camera ready quality of merchandise
• Textile knowledge for proper drape and fit for on-figure and still shoots
• Responsible for dressing and pinning wardrobe on talent to maximize fit
• Gain knowledge of product and brands to adequately represent merchandise
• Maintains a clear understanding of brand's overall aesthetic, seasonal product priorities, and current state of business in order to shift quickly, organizing work to support the needs of the lead stylists
• Organize and maintain the styling/prop area
• Prioritize based on capacity, deadlines, and competing priorities
• Communicate with merchandise coordinator to receive, organize, and prepare product
• Pull and return wardrobe with direction from lead stylists
• Repackage product after photoshoots and deliver it to the correct departments

• 1-2 years retail industry experience in apparel/fashion or related field; men's experience a plus

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from our Dublin, California office.
$43.75 - $50.00. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
