Major Responsibilities:

  • Create inspiring looks for weekly women’s catalog photoshoots
  • Follow Senior and Lead Stylists’ seasonal styling direction to translate styling trends to e-commerce friendly looks and showcase seasonal focuses and buying investments
  • Pre-style, organize, and prep all garments and accessories to ensure all items are photo ready
  • Review PO images prior to catalog shoots to ensure proper dressing and styling of model
  • Collaborate with the Senior Stylist on upcoming catalog shoots
  • Participate in daily walk-throughs to get final approvals of clothing racks for upcoming photoshoots to ensure styling is brand and site appropriate
  • Participate in evolving the styling point of view for FWRD women’s
  • Research and stay on top of current and emerging trends in fashion and retail, including competitors’ sites and brands’ lookbooks
  • Collaborate with Photo Shoot Director and Photographer to manage time and pacing on set
  • Submit any necessary pulls to ensure the needed merchandise is in-studio prior to catalog shoots and categorize high-priority merchandise
  • Keeping merchandise organized and dressing models in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet productivity goals
  • Demonstrate proper techniques for styling and preparation of merchandise to minimize damages
  • Focus on efficiency and meeting daily productivity goals while minimizing reshoots
  • Perform photo shoot breakdown following the catalog shoots (sample tags, shoes, etc)
  • Organize all clothing racks before passing them to the appropriate teams
  • Review QCs and feedback to ensure all product is shot correctly and up to FWRD standards
  • Collaborate with the Senior Stylist to maintain an up to date styling closet (inventory, seasonality, and on-trend)
  • Help manage the studio inventory and participate in monthly audits
  • Maintain a tidy studio and manage women’s styling closet
  • Assist in training additional stylists and men’s catalog shoots as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of styling experience in E-commerce, Editorial, and/or Photo Studio environment
  • Professional styling experience on-figure styling and product styling
  • Understanding of fashion and market trends, visual composition, and the art of aesthetic presentation
  • Experience in working with Hair and Makeup Artists, Photographers, and Photo Art Directors
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Gmail and Google Drive
  • Physically able to lift over 25 lbs
  • Portfolio with women’s styling, lifestyle or studio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Photography, or other Visual Communications Arts
  • Complete creative understanding of the FWRD customer
  • Experience styling luxury brands
  • Experience with Adobe Suite
  • Proficient in Mac and PC computer systems

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $23 to $24/hr.
