Project Manager

Location: Houston, TX or Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Role Type: Full-time

Position Summary

Mphasis is seeking an assertive, results-driven Project Managerto lead and accelerate the onboarding of enterprise data center customers onto our client's internal e-commerce platform, while managing end-to-end program delivery for a leading enterprise server provider.

In this role, you will act as the central catalyst between enterprise customer accounts, internal delivery teams, and key stakeholders. You are a natural taskmaster and go-getter who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at multitasking, and possesses the vocal confidence to drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and keep complex ecosystems moving forward.

Beyond platform governance, you will serve as a primary engagement lead helping organize and execute customer get-togethers, roundtables, and industry conferences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Onboarding & E-Commerce Platform Governance

  • Drive Customer Onboarding: Own the end-to-end pipeline for transitioning enterprise data center customers onto the internal e-commerce portal, ensuring a seamless digital experience.
  • Manage Platform Changes & Custom Requests: Prioritize and program manage custom feature requests, pricing updates, and ongoing portal enhancements.
  • Proactive Risk & Delay Management: Anticipate delays early, formulate mitigation strategies, and actively communicate changes across internal and partner ecosystems to prevent operational impact.

2. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with internal engineering, product, sales, and operations teams to align on upcoming platform updates and roadmap releases.
  • Assertive Governance: Drive crisp program cadences, hold cross-functional owners accountable to timelines, and comfortably manage up or across organizations to maintain momentum.
  • Transparent Reporting: Serve as the outspoken voice of the program, delivering clear, actionable updates and risk assessments to executive leadership and key customer stakeholders.

3. Customer Engagement & Event Coordination

  • Event Planning & Hosting: Help organize, coordinate, and host customer appreciation events, roundtables, and enterprise conferences for key client accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Act as an approachable, high-energy lead during live events and digital forums, building strong customer rapport and community connection.

Required Qualifications & Mindset

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in program management, enterprise customer onboarding, e-commerce platform operations, or IT delivery management within technology services.
  • Drive & Mindset: Highly assertive, self-motivated, and execution-oriented. You proactively identify gaps and take full ownership to drive solutions.
  • Communication Style: Exceptionally outspoken, articulate, and confident presenting to both technical delivery teams and senior client leaders.
  • Multitasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority streams concurrently in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Industry & Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise server/data center technology concepts, B2B portal implementations, or large-scale digital commerce platforms.
  • Event & Relationship Management: Demonstrated comfort in planning, organizing, and facilitating customer gatherings and conference logistics.
  • Location: Based in or around Houston, TX or Dallas, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within major global IT services or consulting organizations (e.g., Mphasis).
