By combining high-growth strategic locations, state-of-the-art facilities, and exhaustive offerings that include traditional storage programs and diverse value-added services (including DTC), the company has positioned itself as a collaborative and integrated provider for food retailers, producers, and distributors. This mission is reinforced through its highly bespoke solutioning and customer-centric approach. The RealCold platform operates a national, omni-channel network, inclusive of traditional storage offerings, as well as comprehensive direct-to-consumer programs, which can reach the majority of U.S. consumers within 1- or 2-day ground service.

The Role:

The e-Commerce Lead Team Member plays a pivotal role in driving team performance and ensuring operational excellence within the organization. This position is responsible for guiding, motivating, and supporting team members to achieve collective goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The Lead Team Member acts as a liaison between management and staff, facilitating clear communication and fostering a collaborative work environment. They are instrumental in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance productivity. Ultimately, this role ensures that the team consistently meets or exceeds expectations, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Lead Team Member must interface well with other team members to create a positive work environment and healthy team culture.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for promoting a Safety Culture throughout the Facility, working safe is always the #1 priority; clean as you go to ensure everyone is working in a safe environment. Follow all safety rules & regulations at all times and be a conduit of safety to yourself and others.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to team members, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate team activities and delegate responsibilities to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between team members and management, communicating updates and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive team culture.
  • Identify operational challenges and collaborate with management to develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Position:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or a supervisory role.
  • More than one year of experience in a warehouse or related role.
  • Experience in a cold storage facility a plus.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, high reach, and pallet jacks.
  • Forklift Certification (pallet jack or high reach) preferred with the ability to attain one upon hire.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Work Environment:

Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. Environment may be fast paced at times. You will be working around moving machines, order pickers and forklifts.
