As an E-Commerce Manager at North 40, you will be responsible for leading our end-to-end digital and e-commerce ecosystem, including the online customer journey, merchandising strategy, storefront optimization, analytics, and overall revenue performance. This role ensures our online experience reflects North 40's lifestyle brand and service-first culture while supporting growth across channels.

This full-time, exempt position requires close collaboration with merchandising, marketing, IT, and operations teams to drive traffic, conversion, customer engagement, and a seamless omnichannel experience. The E-Commerce Manager thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses data to guide decisions, and is passionate about building digital experiences that convert, scale, and support the needs of our customers.

Qualifications
  • Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth, conversion, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Support seasonal and promotional planning aligned with farm & ranch retail cycles
  • Oversee day-to-day website performance, usability, and customer experience across desktop and mobile
  • Identify and prioritize site enhancements to improve navigation, engagement, and conversion
  • Partner with IT and development teams to manage site updates, enhancements, testing, and optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on digital acquisition and retention strategies, including email, paid media, SEO/SEM, and social
  • Support campaign planning, execution, and post-campaign performance analysis
  • Ensure alignment between marketing messaging, promotions, and onsite execution
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through targeted digital initiatives
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture focused on measurable business impact
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including traffic, conversion rate, average order value, revenue, and customer metrics
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance insights with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimization efforts to improve site performance
  • Serve as the primary business owner for the e-commerce channel, coordinating efforts across merchandising, marketing, IT, and operations
  • Support omnichannel initiatives such as BOPIS, ship-to-store, and in-store digital experiences
  • Ensure compliance with e-commerce security, privacy, and accessibility standards
  • Bring 3-5+ years of e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online retail experience, with strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM principles, conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies, and digital marketing performance metrics
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI best practices and basic web technologies
  • This role involves regular computer and keyboard work, visual focus on screens, on-site office work, frequent communication with team members and partners, use of standard office equipment, reliable attendance, and occasional travel to store or vendor locations (about 10-20%).
