Job description

Description

Own the digital shelf for one of the most recognized brands in car care.

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented E-Commerce Merchandising Manager to own and optimize the merchandising experience across our Shopify Plus website and support our growing TikTok Shop business.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn customer behavior, product strategy, inventory priorities, and commercial goals into a high-performing digital shopping experience.

You will own key merchandising levers across product discovery, site navigation, collection strategy, PDP optimization, cross-sell, promotional execution, catalog accuracy, and sell-through.

This role will report to the Director of Ecommerce and work closely with marketing, product, creative, inventory planning, operations, and customer service to improve conversion rate, revenue per visitor, units per order, average order value, margin, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the merchandising strategy for our Shopify Plus website, with a focus on improving product discovery, conversion, cross-sell, AOV, RPV, and UPO
  • Build and maintain merchandising rules that support customer intent, product education, inventory priorities, margin goals, and promotional strategy.
  • Identify friction points in the shopping journey and prioritize site improvements that increase conversion rate and revenue per visitor.
  • Ensure products are presented in a way that clearly communicates use case, benefits, compatibility, application, and value.
  • Own the strategy for cross-sell, upsell, kits, and bundles across the website.
  • Develop scalable frameworks to guide customers between related products, categories, routines, and solutions.
  • Partner with creative and product teams to improve product content, images, videos, claims, comparison messaging, and educational merchandising.
  • Support CRO initiatives by identifying, briefing, and prioritizing merchandising tests that can improve conversion, AOV, attach rate, and product discovery.
  • Manage site promotional merchandising strategy, including offer setup, product placement, collection sequencing, and promotional visibility.
  • Forecast promotional impact, including revenue opportunity, discount cost, margin implications, inventory risk, and expected sell-through.
  • Own ecommerce merchandising execution for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, kits, bundles, and key category initiatives.
  • Use GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps, search data, merchandising reports, customer feedback, and sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build reporting around product performance, category performance, promotional results, and customer behavior - translating data into clear action plans.
  • Assist with product selection, assortment strategy, promotional planning, and sell-through opportunities for TikTok Shop.
  • Partner with marketing and social commerce teams to ensure TikTok Shop merchandising supports broader ecommerce and brand goals.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, product, inventory planning, operations, customer service, and development teams to deliver a seamless ecommerce experience.
  • Brief creative and content needs for product launches, landing pages, collections, PDPs, promotional campaigns, and educational merchandising.
  • Communicate merchandising priorities, performance insights, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

The E-Commerce Merchandising Manager will be successful if they can:

  • Make it easier for customers to find the right products.
  • Improve conversion rate and revenue per visitor through stronger site merchandising.
  • Increase AOV and units per order through better cross-sell, upsell, kits, bundles, and product education.
  • Improve sell-through of priority products without relying only on discounts.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate, and optimized ecommerce catalog.
  • Use data to identify opportunities and move quickly from insight to execution.
