Job description

Overview

The Instacart Brand Partnerships team is at the center of one of the most exciting transformations happening in retail media today. We work with brands across the CPG landscape to help them win at the digital shelf - connecting them to millions of shoppers actively purchasing groceries and everyday essentials online. The Emerging  team moves fast, uses data to storytell, and genuinely believes that the brands we work with are building the future of how people discover and buy products.

About the Team

The challenger brands we work with are scrappy, ambitious, and already excited about what Instacart can do for them. We're growing this segment rapidly, and this role sits right at the heart of that growth. In this role, you'll build and nurture relationships with a portfolio of emerging brands - both those actively investing in the platform and those with untapped potential waiting to be unlocked. You're not just managing accounts; you're acting as a trusted advisor, owning the full advertising relationship and helping brands connect the dots between their growth goals and what Instacart's ecosystem can deliver.

About the Job

  • Manage and grow a book of emerging brands, driving revenue through upsells, renewals, and new media adoption
  • Sell across the full Instacart Ads ecosystem - helping brands think holistically about sponsored, display, video, and off-platform solutions
  • Build data driven business reviews and storytelling that connects campaign performance to brand growth goals
  • Educate brands on the e-commerce landscape and how to think about Instacart as a core retail media channel
  • Maintain a high-velocity sales cadence - calls, emails, QBRs - in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Product, and Marketing to deliver an exceptional partner experience

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital media sales, media buying  or CPG advertising.  Preferably in a previous quota carrying sales role.
  • Strong data driven storytelling skills, you can synthesize campaign metrics into clear, compelling narratives for brand partners
  • A consultative sales approach with a track record of growing accounts through education and solution-selling
  • Familiarity with the broader e-commerce landscape and retail media ecosystem (experience at a retailer, DSP, or CPG brand is a plus)
  • Comfort with a high-activity sales environment - you're organized, responsive, and know how to prioritize
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Google Suite,  and Excel/Sheets; familiarity with ad platforms and AI tools is a bonus
  • Genuine curiosity about where retail media is headed and how brands can win in it
