What is an ECM architect?

An ECM (Enterprise Content Management) architect is a professional responsible for designing and implementing content management systems that organize, store, and retrieve digital information within an organization. They typically have expertise in ECM platforms, data modeling, and integration with other enterprise systems, ensuring efficient content workflows and compliance. This role often requires knowledge of tools like SharePoint, OpenText, or Documentum, along with strong technical and project management skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ECM Architect, and why are they important?

To excel as an ECM Architect, you need deep expertise in enterprise content management systems, information architecture, and typically a degree in computer science or a related field.
