Job description

 

  • Position: Medical Staff Coordinator (Non-Clinical)

  • Address: Rapid City, SD 57701

  • Duration: 13 weeks

  • Start Dates: June 30, 2025 

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Hours/Week: 40 hours, guaranteed

  • Shift Type: 8-Hour Days

  • Holidays/Weekends: None expected

Compensation

  • Local Rate:

    • $49/hour

    • Weekly Gross: $1,960

  • Travel Contract:

    • $24/hour W2

    • $1,200/week per diem (based on 40 hours)

    • Total Weekly Gross: $2,160

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee Medical Staff Services operations (credentialing, privileging, orientation, etc.)

  • Serve as a resource to VPMA and medical staff

  • Maintain regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, NCQA, etc.)

  • Use Echo Credentialing and MIDAS databases

  • Assist with survey preparation, document revisions, and committee support

 Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year in each:

    • Healthcare

    • Medical Staff experience

    • Regulatory Guidelines

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in Healthcare

  • 2+ years in each of the above fields

  • Experience with:

    • Echo Credentialing software

    • Joint Commission/NCQA-accredited facilities

  • Certifications:

    • CPCS (strongly preferred)

    • CPMSM a plus
