What are some typical projects an Environmental Consulting (EC) professional might work on, and how do they collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies?

Environmental Consulting professionals often work on projects such as environmental impact assessments, site remediation, sustainability planning, and compliance audits. These projects usually involve close collaboration with clients to understand their needs, as well as ongoing communication with regulatory agencies to ensure all environmental regulations are met. Team members frequently work together across disciplines, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to deliver comprehensive solutions. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as professionals must manage project timelines, coordinate fieldwork, and present findings in clear, actionable reports.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Environmental Consulting (EC) professional, and why are they important?

To excel as an Environmental Consultant, you typically need a background in environmental science or engineering, strong analytical abilities, and relevant fieldwork experience. EC Payroll Solutions Architect (US-Based)
Highly Urgent | Hands-On Role
Overview
We are seeking a Senior EC Payroll Solutions Architect to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions for complex client environments. This role is hands-on and ideal for a proven architect who enjoys configuration, problem-solving, and direct project delivery-not just advisory work. This is a key role within a fast-growing HR technology consultancy known for deep expertise, strong client relationships, and a collaborative, delivery-first culture.
What You'll Do
  • Lead EC Payroll architecture, design, and hands-on configuration
  • Own end-to-end payroll implementations, enhancements, and migrations
  • Partner closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Configure and support:
    • Payroll schemas, rules, and calculations
    • Time management and integration points
    • Benefits, tax, and compliance requirements
  • Design and support integrations between:
    • Employee Central
    • EC Payroll
    • Third-party systems (benefits, time, finance, tax vendors, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and provide expert-level guidance
  • Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and post-go-live stabilization
  • Collaborate with project managers, functional leads, and technical teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while remaining deeply involved in delivery
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of SAP HCM / SuccessFactors experience
  • Strong, hands-on experience with EC Payroll (this is not a high-level advisory role)
  • Proven experience:
    • Configuring payroll schemas and rules
    • Leading payroll implementations or major enhancements
    • Working directly with clients in a consulting environment
  • Deep understanding of:
    • U.S. payroll requirements and compliance
    • EC Payroll architecture and data flow
  • Experience integrating EC Payroll with third-party systems
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Travel: Ability to travel to client sites and HQ as needed.
Requirements
  • US-based
  • US Citizen
  • Able to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on Configuration Experience
Why This Opportunity
  • Join a growing HR technology consultancy with a strong reputation in the SuccessFactors ecosystem
  • Work on meaningful, complex payroll projects-not staff augmentation
  • Be trusted as the go-to payroll expert, with real influence on solution design
  • Collaborative culture with leadership that values expertise and execution
  • Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunity
