• Fully remote position, allowing for a flexible work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Utilize video chat technology to provide ethical and empathetic counseling sessions, ensuring clients feel comfortable and engaged.
• Facilitate skill-building sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communication.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions while keeping paperwork to a minimum.

The focus of this role is primarily on working with stable, low-acuity adults who seek support in managing their mental health challenges. The counselor will employ a collaborative approach to help clients navigate their personal experiences, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Possession of a current, independent state license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, allowing for practice without supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in effective communication and establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient computer skills, including a strong understanding of virtual counseling tools and technology.
• Access to a reliable and stable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted virtual sessions.

• Previous experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, specifically with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and ethics, along with knowledge of confidentiality and informed consent in a remote environment.

• Attractive annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, determined based on the number of hours worked and client load.
