Position Description & Requirements


POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners Bluegrass is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant/ or Nurse Practitioner to join our Interventional Radiology team in Richmond, KY. This hospital-based position is procedurally oriented, focusing on routine radiology procedures in a supportive and collaborative environment.


Position Highlights: 
  • Competitive salary
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST - NO CALL, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS
  • Full comprehensive benefits
  • Primary role is to be a physician extender/substitute for procedures performed in radiology
  • Assist in the performance of direct patient care services and inpatient consults
  • Assists physician with physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries
  • Under the supervision of a physician, develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
  • Procedures: central lines, tunneled catheters, chest tubes, paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial biopsies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, thyroid biopsies, fluoro, etc.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Board certification required
  • BLS AND ACLS certification required
  • Must hold a DEA certificate
  • Licensed or have the ability to be licensed as a PA/NP in the state of KY
  • Radiology experience preferred


COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
