Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist (Neuro)

Location:  Rochester, NY

Pay Rate: $3300 To $3520/week

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 8-Hour or 10-Hour Shifts

Experience: Neurosurgery/Neuroscience Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IR Neuro Radiologic Technologist to support advanced neuro-interventional and diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong neuroscience experience and work collaboratively with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced interventional setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during neuro-interventional radiology procedures.

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Ensure patient safety, positioning, and radiation protection throughout procedures.

  • Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedural setup.

  • Monitor patients during procedures and collaborate with the healthcare team.

  • Participate in required on-call and holiday coverage.

Requirements
  • Active Radiologic Technologist License (as required by the state).

  • BLS certification required.

  • Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience required.

  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of neuro-interventional imaging procedures and sterile technique.
