Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in Neuro IR, with required NIHSS certification and Neuro ICU experience, for a 16-week contract.

Details
  • Neuro Interventional Radiology unit focused on endovascular patients
  • Procedures include angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
  • Day shifts of 8 hours, with start times of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Rotational call requirement on both weekdays and weekends
  • Holiday coverage on a rotational basis as assigned
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • 16-week contract
Requirements
  • Active and clear IR Tech license required; license required if applicable
  • Current BLS and ACLS required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Neuro ICU experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Neuro IR lab preferred
  • Radiology and/or IR/Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Two completed professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
  • Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Care for endovascular patients undergoing neuro interventional procedures including stroke interventions and aneurysm treatment
  • Scrubs provided by the facility
  • Holiday shifts are assigned on a rotational basis
