Job description

Customer Service Representative - On Site Job Title: Customer Service Representative - On Site Department: Customer Service Location: Earthwise Environmental Solutions, Elizabeth, PA FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you are the first point of contact for our customers. You will handle incoming calls, take payments, answer questions about services, and assist with resolving service issues. This position plays a key role in providing a positive customer experience and supporting the daily operations of our waste management services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Provide information about residential, commercial, and roll-off waste services.
  • Process customer payments by phone, in person, or via online system.
  • Resolve service-related issues, including missed pickups, container requests, and billing inquiries.
  • Update customer accounts with notes, changes, or requests using company software.
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and operations to coordinate customer solutions.
  • Assist with outbound calls or emails as needed for service confirmations or reminders.
  • Follow company procedures and policies to ensure consistent, accurate service.
  • Perform light administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and sorting mail
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in the medical field is highly transferable and encouraged.
  • Comfortable using computer systems, phone systems, and office equipment.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the waste or transportation industry is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with frequent phone and computer use.
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays or extended hours as needed.

Compensation details: 16-18 Hourly Wage
