The Compassionate Mind Healing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct initial assessments with new clients to understand their goals and challenges, laying the groundwork for personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Develop and continually modify individual rehabilitation plans based on client assessments, focusing on their skills, capabilities, and aspirations.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client’s care.
• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, documenting service provided, progress made, and essential communications to facilitate ongoing treatment.
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and assessments, making necessary adjustments in treatment strategies to secure successful outcomes.
• Work closely with clients throughout job training and occupational placement processes to address any placement-related challenges swiftly.
• Engage with clients’ families to include them in the therapeutic process and to develop effective strategies that meet the client’s needs.
• Provide expert guidance and referrals to relevant resources when additional support is necessary.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in helping clients build resilience and independence in their everyday lives. You will be instrumental in facilitating their journey toward recovery, drawing on your skills to foster positive change.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• You must hold an active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A demonstrated history of working with clients experiencing mental health challenges in both inpatient and outpatient settings is essential.
• Excellent clinical skills including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) are required.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with a passionate commitment to fostering positive change in clients' lives.

While the required qualifications ensure that our counselors have a strong foundation, ideal candidates will have additional training in specialized therapies or techniques that enhance our treatment approaches. Advanced certifications in areas such as Art Therapy or Trauma-Informed Care will be viewed favorably. Experience in remote counseling services or familiarity with telehealth platforms will also be an asset.

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
