Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research and we are searching for a Finance Manager to join our incredible team! This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department functions and staff with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.
What will you do?
  • Provides direction and leadership to the accounting department.
  • Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
  • Manage general ledger review and prepare month end entries, allocation and financial reports.
  • Assists with annual audits. (401K & Work Comp).
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Researches issues and concerns with minimal supervision.
  • Communicates clearly and collaboratively with employees, patients and vendors providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, however experience will be taken into consideration.
  • Three years accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
