The Telemetry Technician is responsible for continuously monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry systems, identifying abnormalities, and alerting clinical staff to any significant changes. What You'll Do
Monitor cardiac rhythms for multiple patients simultaneously via telemetry systems
Recognize and interpret normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms and waveform changes
Immediately notify nurses and physicians of significant rhythm changes or life-threatening arrhythmias
Accurately document cardiac events and rhythm strips per hospital protocol
Troubleshoot telemetry equipment and ensure all monitors are functioning properly
