What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Senior Instructional Designer, youโ€™ll design, build, and deliver highโ€‘impact learningโ€”partnering with leaders and SMEs to translate priorities into engaging curricula, eLearning, and blended programs that elevate skills and performance across the firm.

  • Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with management and SMEs on objectives and training prioritization.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, course content (eLearning, simulations, blended learning), curricula, job aids, and learner guides using sound instructional design theory; communicate best practices to internal clients.
  • Design and develop training processes, plans, and content with internal resources; equip SMEs to deliver training effectively and consistently.
  • Plan, organize, implement, and administer training activities across offices and programs; manage schedules and logistics.
  • Deliver and facilitate training within the organization; adapt methods to audience and modality.
  • Drive learning development based on firm priorities; continuously improve content and assess training quality and impact.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS): course setup, assignments, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Perform other Learning & Development duties/assignments as needed to support program goals.

Who Weโ€™re Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or comparable field
  • Three years of training or facilitation experience in a corporate or professional business setting, preferably in training or human resources
  • Experience with SCORM compliance and copy writing laws

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and delivering training in a STEM industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in Articulate, Captivate, InDesign, or similar graphic design and training development tools.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and instructional design; applies sound instructional design theory.
  • Knowledge of SCORM compliance and copywriting laws.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and LMS configuration/administration (preferred).
  • Interpersonal savvy; clear written communication and presentation skills; strong speech clarity.
  • Comprehension, memorization, originality, persuasion, and sound judgment/decisionโ€‘making.
  • Detailโ€‘oriented and organized; able to marshal resources and orchestrate multiple activities to accomplish goals.
