Job Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Level 2) to support the design of small components and assemblies for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with strong CAD proficiency and relevant design exposure, who are eager to contribute to product development and engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design an d develop small components and assemblies using CAD software. Support engineering efforts for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and optical systems. Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs. Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and project timelines. Required Qualifications Bac helor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience. Proficiency in Siemens NX. Strong experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo. Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing con siderations. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experi ence with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Exposure to design for production or production line support. Basic knowledge of shock, vibration, or stress analysis. Education: Bachelors Degree
