About D’IYANU
D’IYANU is a leading ecommerce fashion brand rooted in African-inspired design, creating modern apparel that celebrates culture, confidence, and identity. Through bold prints, elevated silhouettes, and meaningful storytelling, we serve a global customer base across ecommerce and marketplace channels.
We are entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a Head of Growth to help scale the business. This is not a traditional marketing role.
We are looking for a growth-minded operator who can drive revenue, build structure, create accountability, and help evolve D’IYANU into a more scalable, performance-driven brand.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic leader, growth marketer, ecommerce operator, and team builder — someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and knows how to turn ideas into measurable execution.
The Opportunity
As Head of Growth, you will own customer acquisition, ecommerce growth, and revenue performance across D’IYANU’s direct-to-consumer business, with a primary focus on paid acquisition, conversion, retention, and profitable growth. Amazon and marketplace channels are secondary growth areas that require strategic oversight.
You will be responsible for building systems, improving execution, increasing accountability, and leading the overall growth engine of the business.
You will work directly with the CEO and cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities, solve bottlenecks, and drive measurable business performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution — someone who can think big while also rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.
This role carries meaningful accountability for growth performance and business results. Success in this role will be measured through improvements in revenue growth, customer acquisition efficiency, conversion rate, repeat purchase behavior, and overall marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth Ownership
  • Own and drive ecommerce revenue growth across DTC and Amazon channels
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive omnichannel growth strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to improve traffic, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability
  • Establish growth priorities and ensure consistent execution against revenue targets
  • Drive measurable year-over-year revenue growth
Ecommerce Growth & Conversion Optimization

Drive direct-to-consumer
growth through ecommerce optimization, customer acquisition, retention, conversion rate improvement, and customer experience optimization.
Responsibilities include:
  • Improve Shopify site conversion rate through testing, merchandising, UX improvements, landing page optimization, PDP optimization, and storytelling
  • Develop creative testing frameworks to improve Meta/Instagram and Google advertising performance
  • Partner with creative teams to continuously improve ad creative performance and conversion
  • Oversee UGC strategy and creator content systems that fuel paid and organic growth
  • Improve onsite merchandising, product discovery, and customer journey performance
  • Drive retention initiatives through email, SMS, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing
  • Optimize landing pages and customer acquisition funnels to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Identify friction points across the customer journey and implement solutions that improve conversion and AOV
Paid Media Ownership (Core Responsibility)
Paid acquisition is a core responsibility of this role, with Meta/Instagram serving as a primary growth channel. The Head of Growth will own strategy, optimization, budget allocation, creative testing, attribution, and performance outcomes across all paid channels.
Core Channels
  • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram – Primary Growth Channel)
  • Google Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • Retargeting platforms
  • Emerging paid acquisition channels
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies that drive profitable growth
  • Own paid media performance, budget allocation, and optimization decisions
  • Improve return on ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and overall marketing efficiency
  • Lead creative testing strategy across paid channels
  • Partner with creative/content teams to continuously improve ad performance
  • Build scalable acquisition systems that support long-term growth
  • Analyze attribution and performance data to improve spend efficiency
  • Manage agencies and freelancers where applicable while maintaining accountability for outcomes
Brand & Content Leadership
Help evolve D’IYANU from a product-focused ecommerce brand into a stronger lifestyle and cultural brand with deeper customer engagement and brand affinity.
Lead and oversee:
  • Brand storytelling
  • Social media strategy
  • UGC and creator partnerships
  • Influencer programs
  • Campaign concepts and content direction
  • Brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
You should understand how to blend performance marketing with storytelling and brand building

Innovation & Growth Opportunities
  • Stay ahead of ecommerce, fashion, marketing, and AI trends
  • Evaluate new technologies, channels, and growth opportunities
  • Test innovative ideas and growth initiatives that create competitive advantage
Team Leadership, Structure & Accountability
Build a high-performing, organized marketing function.
Responsibilities include:
  • Create structure, accountability, and clear workflows within the marketing team
