Overview

The Central Channel Leader will drive the development and execution of a comprehensive referral channel strategy and manage resource allocation to maximize growth across CPA and Bank channels. In particular, this role requires familiarity and expertise with the CPA channel, especially in driving new referral partnerships and increasing share of wallet with existing referral partners. This role requires collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders on priority channel topics and initiatives.


Responsibilities
  • 1. Oversee Referral Channel Strategy: • Oversee and enable the development of a comprehensive referral channel strategy for CPA and bank channels. • Identify growth opportunities and set in-year and multi-year financial goals across CPA and bank channels. • Ensure alignment of the referral strategy with overall business objectives.
  • 2. Resource Allocation and Management: • Allocate resources across central channel teams effectively to maximize growth across different referral channels and segments. • Monitor and adjust resource distribution based on overall channel performance and strategic priorities. • Ensure optimal utilization of the budget and other resources to achieve channel goals. • Provide input and support into Market Team resource allocation with regards to referral / advisor channel priorities (e.g., strategic priorities and financial targets related to channel for each market team)
  • 3. Stakeholder Collaboration: • Collaborate internally with market teams and business units to ensure cohesive execution of referral channel strategies. • Engage with external stakeholders (e.g., partners, industry groups) to foster strong relationships and advocate for channel initiatives. • Lead cross-functional teams on priority channel projects and initiatives.
  • 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of referral channel strategies. • Regularly review and analyze channel performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Report on channel performance to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • 5. Compliance and Risk Management: • Ensure all referral activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with channel operations. • Implement best practices for ethical and compliant referral channel management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 15 years of sales experience,.
  • 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Be comfortable with traveling approximately 50% of the time.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
