OVERVIEW:
The Executive Search Enablement Partner plays a critical role in enabling high quality executive hiring at DICK'S Sporting Goods. This role is designed around the highest value work that supports Director and above searches, partnering closely with Lead Executive Search Partners to translate search strategy into execution ready tools, insights, and materials.
This role focuses on search enablement, funnel optimization, and scale across the executive recruiting portfolio. Over time, this role is expected to develop the capability to independently lead executive searches.
The Executive Search Enablement Partner reports directly to the Director of Executive Recruiting and works day to day with Lead Executive Search Partners, senior leaders, executive assistants, and talent acquisition partners.
Search Strategy Enablement, Partnership and Execution
  • Translate executive search strategy into execution ready tools and materials by attending kickoff meetings, creating interview guides, role cards, scorecards, and search artifacts, and partnering closely with Lead Executive Search Partners throughout the lifecycle of Director and above searches.
  • After a period of on-boarding, this teammate will take on Director level searches

Candidate Funnel Review and ATS Support
  • Review resumes and candidate profiles within the ATS to help narrow candidate funnels, surface high quality talent, and optimize the time and focus of the Lead Executive Search Partner leading the search.

Sourcing and Market Research
  • Leverage sourcing and research tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and similar platforms to support candidate identification, industry research, market mapping, and proactive pipeline development.

Executive Search Operations and Reporting
  • Prepare executive ready materials including candidate summaries, pitch decks, calibration materials, and leadership updates.
  • Maintain search tracking, reporting, and monthly executive recruiting team performance recaps.

Search Coordination and Administrative Support
  • Support VP and above interview scheduling selectively where complexity warrants, manage invoicing, vendor coordination, and candidate travel logistics.
  • Maintain standardized executive recruiting templates and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience creating executive-level reporting, presentations, or recruiting materials
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot and comparable technologies, to enhance recruiting workflows, candidate research, documentation quality, and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Prior experience working successfully within a large, growing, complex organization
  • Strong organizational skills and service-oriented mindset
  • Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter strongly preferred
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, & Excel)

Preferred:
  • Progressive experience supporting an executive recruiting function/retained agency or talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with recruiters or search leaders, including resume review, candidate assessment support, or search operations.
  • Experience creating executive ready materials such as candidate summaries, interview guides, scorecards, market insights, or leadership updates.

Executive Search and Talent Assessment Capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to review resumes and candidate profiles within an ATS (WorkDay preferred) and apply sound judgment to help narrow candidate funnels and surface high quality talent.
  • Experience supporting candidate calibration and assessment discussions in partnership with senior recruiters or hiring leaders.
  • Working knowledge and genuine interest in business news, talent trends, and industry dynamics, with interest in developing deeper market expertise over time.

Sourcing and Research Skills
  • Experience leveraging sourcing and research tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and similar platforms to support candidate identification, market mapping, and industry research.
  • Comfort conducting targeted research to inform search strategy, pipelining efforts, and future hiring needs.

Communication and Stakeholder Partnership
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and polished materials for executive level audiences with a short turn-around.
  • Professional presence and confidence working with senior leaders, executive assistants, and cross functional partners.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Executive Search peers and take direction while exercising independent judgment.

Operational Excellence and Judgment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches, balance competing priorities, and consistently prioritize work that has the greatest impact on search outcomes.
  • High attention to detail and quality control across search materials, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.

Growth and Development Orientation
  • Demonstrated interest in developing toward independently leading executive (Director) searches over time.
  • Willingness to deepen expertise in executive search strategy, sourcing, and candidate assessment as scope expands.
