Job Title: Dynamics 365 Technical Lead
Job Location: Montvale, NJ (Hybrid- 2 days remote and 3 days onsite.)
Job Type: Full Time.
Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: The D365 Technical Lead is a key member of the IT Department and Continuous Improvement team. They are the main point of contact for the high level and technical needs of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. This includes but is not limited to managing system upgrades, installation and configuration of third-party add-ins, Build creation, and managing customizations. The ability to recognize and escalate priority issues and translate technical terms into non-technical language is critical to the success of this role. Responsibilities for the position include management of upgrades, deployment of customizations, the Build and Release Process, Senior level support for troubleshooting, and providing assistance during "Go-Live" activities, EDI support, Treasury Automation, and other functions related to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The position will also work with the IT department as well as other departments to ensure ERP related projects are completed; and at times the incumbent may also need to manage projects from start to finish.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Function as the primary IT contact for D365 technical requirements
Manage the Production, Test and Development environments
Assist the D365 Continuous improvement team with "Go Live" activities
Manage and maintain the D365 Version Upgrade process, meetings, and testing
Create and deploy Builds and ISVs to various environments
Research new features and enhancements, work with other business units to explore possible use cases
Author and present functional and technical design documents that translate business requirements into workable solutions
Support current D365 Integrations and third-party add-ins (EDI, TAS, Etc ...)
Review progress of assigned tickets, ensuring end users are receiving appropriate assistance.
Follow development best practices and software development life cycle processes
Ensure that modifications, extensions and customizations are well documented
Provide technical and functional knowledge of development technologies, LCS and Azure Dev Ops
Work with functional team to test and implement customizations
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
MBA or BS Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, ERP Management
Minimum of 4 years' experience within Dynamics 365 F&O
Microsoft Lifecycle Services experience. Specifically, D365 Upgrade/Build/Installations
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications is a plus
Understanding of financial, supply chain and manufacturing operational process flows within Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
Project management skills with a track record of applying program and change management principles, practices and techniques
Effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, SQL, Transact SQL, Stored procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions
