Description

Position Purpose:

As the Print and Duplication Lead, you will work with our Product Services Management team to plan and execute print projects, including estimating, purchasing materials, maintaining equipment, managing deadlines, and establishing a production schedule to monitor the ministry's onsite digital printing and media duplication operations with a high level of integrity and a sharp strategic mind. You will also guide, direct, and facilitate the day-to-day operations in this area for all orders, reports, and monthly partnerships, including monthly statements to be printed and ready in the given time frame established by the Product Services Management team to maximize production, efficiencies, and our partners/donors' end experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Establishing, documenting, and monitoring the Production area's processes and procedures to ensure required timelines are met while maintaining high Quality Assurance standards.
  • Service all machines and be in contact with service technicians.
  • Help determine the best print media for each project.
  • Proof all projects before printing the full job order.
  • Have a can-do attitude to assign and prioritize daily job duties as needed to be flexible with the ministry's needs and department's goals.
  • Communicate all project requirements to internal teams for project goal completion.
  • Plan and direct the printing/duplication of monthly partnerships and monthly statements within an acceptable time frame in collaboration with the Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • Create, assist in, and maintain management reports as requested and oversee reports from Specialists. Quickly identify problems and develop solutions to solve issues in a timely manner.
  • Must oversee Smartsheet data forms for new internal printing/duplication orders placed.
  • Monitor Specialists to verify the process of these orders to completion.
  • Monitor and report on project status to all appropriate persons.
  • Plan projects to meet timelines.
  • Place assigned product PO orders to vendors as needed for raw materials, stock, etc.
  • Maintains positive and professional relationships with all vendors.
  • Regularly monitor the Production area for continuous improvement in processes.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and always providing a safe work environment.
  • Cross-collaborate with your department leads on solutions, process improvement, and challenges. Thinking globally and outside of the box is necessary.
  • Playing a lead role in team morale, company initiatives, department goals, and team engagement.
  • Responsible for scheduling, coaching, training, and discipline.
  • Responsible for conflict resolution and leadership development of assigned associates using the ministry's internal training processes.
  • Responsible for research and implementation of necessary solutions to maintain productivity.
  • Establish and maintain a list of vendor contacts to order supplies from.

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience/education is required.
  • A Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience in the operations of a print and production shop.
  • Prior business and budgetary experience.
  • Leadership training.
  • 5+ years with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Prior employee development experience.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
